Are you a dedicated Hematology/Oncology specialist seeking a rewarding role where your expertise makes a real difference? We are looking for a skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our outpatient clinic team. This position offers the chance to work in a reputable hospital setting, providing comprehensive care to patients while enjoying competitive compensation and professional growth opportunities.
In this vital role, you will support a busy outpatient practice, collaborating with a full-time advanced practice provider team to deliver exceptional solid tumor and hematology care. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes, ensuring they receive high-quality treatment in a supportive environment. This is an excellent opportunity to transition from locum to permanent employment, with a client interested in buyout options starting ASAP.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Valid Minnesota medical license or IMLC certification
- DEA certification
- BLS certification
- Proven experience in Medical Oncology and Hematology
- Strong clinical skills in solid tumor management
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (Epic preferred)
Skills:
- Prior experience in hospital-based outpatient oncology clinics
- Familiarity with EMR systems and hospital protocols
- Multilingual abilities
Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience post-residency/fellowship
- Proven track record in outpatient oncology practice
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:50 PM
- Ability to manage full patient load with full staff support
- Willingness to undergo credentialing within 90 days
- Must have or be able to obtain Minnesota medical licensure and DEA license
