We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong software development experience in C++ and performance analysis to join our fast‑paced development team focused on the Opal Mapping System, a real‑time virtual world of the human heart used for cardiac arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment.

• Provide technical leadership in software architecture and best‑in‑class development practices.
• Architect, design, develop and release innovative high‑performance medical device software.
• Advance performance analysis, efficient memory usage, profiling, static code analysis, and design reviews, providing actionable insights to improve user experience and system efficiency.
• Collaborate across disciplines (HW, Systems, Test, Quality, Regulatory) to maximize end‑to‑end solution value and quality.
• Participate in preclinical system experiments in the lab with physicians and third parties.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with a strong software development background.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in C++ development and debugging.
• Demonstrable expertise in performance analysis and improvement.
• Qt GUI experience, including Qt Widgets and/or Qt Quick/QML.
• Experience with object‑oriented programming principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to contribute to multiple projects in parallel.
• Full design life‑cycle experience: requirements specification, design activities, planning, code reviews, and documentation.
• Participation in technical documentation development (design specifications, test plans, user manuals).
• Promotion of a collaborative environment and pragmatic engineering decision‑making.
• Identification and implementation of continuous improvements to work processes and tools.
• Support field clinical staff on software usage and troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Medical device development experience.
• Experience developing on Linux platforms.
• Experience with Scrum framework.
• Experience with medical device standards (IEC 62304, IEC 60601, ISO 14971, ISO 13485).
• Experience with software configuration management tools (Git), issue tracking (Jira), requirements management (JAMA).
• Ability to master complex software quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• OpenGL experience.
• Mentoring experience with lower‑level engineers.

• Hybrid work mode.
• Travel 0–10%.

Minimum Salary: $86,600 – Maximum Salary: $164,500, subject to location and qualifications. Compensation may include variable components and long‑term incentives for exempt roles.
