Scientist, Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Scientist to join an early discovery immunology team. This role supports target identification and validation using molecular biology and RNA sequencing techniques.

• Execute RNAseq library preparations and quality control using Tape station/Qubit instruments.
• Prepare libraries for sequencing and operate Illumina sequencers
  , troubleshooting as needed.
• Perform ligand‑based assays (ELISA, MSD, Luminex) and functional experiments with primary human immune cells
  .
• Document experiments and data in Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN).
• Collaborate with computational biologists and data scientists to generate and interpret RNAseq datasets
  .
• Support multiple projects across a matrixed team environment
  .

• Experience with RNAseq workflows
  , library preparation, and QC.
• Experience handling PBMCs, primary cells, or tissues
  .
• Background in biology, immunology, molecular biology, or related field
  .
• Experience with ligand‑based assays such as ELISA, MSD, or Luminex.
• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience or Master’s degree + 2 years of experience.

• Experience running end‑to‑end bulk RNAseq libraries and sequencing.
• Familiarity with 10X Genomics platforms (scRNAseq/scATACseq).
• Experience with complex cell culture and stimulations
