Major Account Executive

As a Major Account Executive, you will be selling the entire Akamai Portfolio to the install base. You will be maximizing revenue within your territory through existing accounts to enable customers to become more successful and profitable online.

As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

• Articulating Akamai's value proposition to C-Level executives and corporate decision makers
• Developing a strategic sales plan to create/manage a high-volume sales pipeline through successful execution
• Working within integrated partnerships with sales engineers to ensure consultative engagement with prospects and customers
• Managing contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologies

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a Business, Marketing or Technical discipline or its equivalent
• Have knowledge of CDN and a successful history in Security sales
• Demonstrate successful sales experience in managed services and solutions sales
• Show high ethics, integrity, and personal willpower
