Senior Strategic Account Executive – Akamai Technologies

We collaborate with customers and prospects to align Akamai solutions to business needs. We build relationships and insights to maximize product value through the full scope of our global platform.

• Building & executing territory plans, and developing ecosystems of partners, consultants and influencers.
• Articulating Akamai's value proposition to C-level executives and corporate decision makers.
• Developing a strategic sales plan to create/manage a high-volume sales pipeline through successful execution.
• Working with integrated partnerships with sales engineers to ensure consultative engagement with prospects and customers.
• Managing contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologies.

• Have 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate successful sales experience in managed services and solutions sales.
• Possess understanding of the basic concepts of Security, Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Show high ethics, integrity, and personal willpower.

• On Target Earnings (OTE) ranges from $222,900 - $463,100/year for US-based candidates (base salary + commissions).
• Compensation package may include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
