We are hospitality first. Everything at Third Time starts and ends with the guest experience and how we can make that the best possible experience out there. We were recently awarded Best of Boston and we’re opening our first ever permanent location in Kendall Square. The most important thing is who you are as a person and what sort of things you are about. We are looking for the kind of person who runs after a stranger on the street to return a dropped scarf, who stops by with a plate of cookies to welcome a new family to the neighborhood, or who offers to help carry a stranger’s heavy stroller up the subway stairs.
The kind of truly hospitable person, in other words, who wants to do good things, not for financial gain or some sort of karmic bump, but because the idea of bestowing graciousness upon others makes their own day better. This quality is what we do at Third Time Together. For the right candidate, everything else can be taught!
- Prepare and serve our versions of Eastern Mediterranean cuisine (think the intersection of Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa).
- Work the line during service, maintain prep standards, and ensure consistent quality across all dishes.
- Genuine desire to serve others and create positive experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining quality and providing warm hospitality.
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with guests and collaborating with both kitchen and front‑of‑house teams.
- Prioritize clean, safe, and sanitary food service.
- Multi‑task and strong attention to detail.
- Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Cooking experience is preferred but not required; we will always train the right person!
- Customer service experience is helpful.
- Interest in or knowledge of Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, or Eastern Mediterranean cuisine and culture will be useful as well.
- Hourly wage plus full participation in the tip pool.
- Opportunities to participate in menu development and general daily improvements of both the food and our service.

Full‑time, Part‑time
Base Pay$18 hourly (+ tips $6–12 per hour)
