Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

/p ssential Duties and Responsibilities  ul liPrepares high‑quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules. /li liServes meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items. /li liUses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked.

/li liCleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food‑handling procedures. /li liKeeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored per standards. /li liOperates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed. /li liAssists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required. /li liAssists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.

/li liReports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately. /li liAttends in‑service and safety meetings. /li liMaintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers. /li liPerforms job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. /li liPerforms other duties as assigned. /li liEnsures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.

/li liPersonal commitment to your own safety and that of others. /li liAbides by all Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to:  ul liUse of medium‑weight cut gloves when handling knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer. /li liUse of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans. /li liUse of slip‑resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
