PAGU – Service Manager/AGM

is hiring an experienced Service Manager / Assistant General Manager to lead front‑of‑house operations and guest experience at our Michelin‑awarded Japanese tapas restaurant in Cambridge.

Compensation

$60,000+ DOE.

Role Responsibilities Team & Leadership
  • Training, coaching, and team development.
  • Daily floor leadership and accountability.
Operations
  • Opening/closing oversight.
  • Managing service flow, expo, and private dining/events.
  • Maintaining aesthetics, ambience, and standards.
Product & Beverage
  • Food and beverage knowledge (including allergies).
  • Beverage menu upkeep and wine stewardship.
  • Compliance with health and city regulations.
Guest Relations & Community
  • Building lasting guest relationships.
  • Managing guest databases and communications (Resy, Mailchimp, Tripleseat).
  • Community engagement and outreach.
Administrative & Financial
  • Website and online ordering updates.
  • Revenue tracking and sales goals (daily/weekly/monthly).
Systems & Tools
  • Google Suite, Toast, Resy, Tripleseat, Stripe, Shopify, Door Dash/Caviar.
Certifications
  • TIPS.
  • Serv Safe.
  • Choke Saver.
