Althea, Central Sq restaurant and the sister restaurant of Viale, a husband and wife owner-chef-operated restaurant with a strong focus on sincere and caring hospitality and creative cooking. We are looking for the right manager who possesses a strong passion and desire to make all guests feel comfortable and welcome as if they are coming to their own dinner party, someone who thrives under pressure, doesn’t complain, and completely drama free.

• Manage day-to-day operations during brunch, lunch, dinner, weekends, and holidays
• Oversee a small but dynamic team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Display grace, empathy, determination, and warmth in all interactions
• Ensure positive guest experiences in all areas
• Work in tandem with the management team to meet and maintain financial goals for restaurant
• Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues
• Exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence at every level
• Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations, and conducting performance reviews

• Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management or a lead server position.
• Comfortable with mentoring team members, staff training, scheduling, POS operations, and experience with reservation platforms
• Proficient in cost analysis, and vendor management
• Self-starter with the ability to bring new ideas to the table and to be able to handle management hours
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work closely with the owners and other management
