Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and apply tools to assess neuronal health, including neuronal activity, neurite outgrowth, dendritic spine morphology, and synaptic density using high‑content imaging in primary or iPSC‑derived neurons.
- Validate in vivo mouse models of neurodegeneration to support proof‑of‑concept studies.
- Measure compound exposure and neuroinflammatory pathway changes in the CNS using ELISA and related bioanalytical approaches.
- Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings at internal and external meetings and conferences.
- Publish research findings in high‑impact, peer‑reviewed scientific journals as first author and collaborative contributor.
- Collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams within the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area, Research Platforms, and with external partners.
- Must have a PhD in neuroscience, neurodegeneration, neuroimmunology, or related discipline with a track record of peer-reviewed publications.
- Expertise in neuronal health assessment and synaptic density evaluation using high‑content imaging and bioanalytical assays (e.g., ELISA) in primary neuronal and/or iPSC‑derived cultures.
- Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the postdoc fellowship.
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
- Hands‑on experience with molecular biology techniques, including gene silencing or gene therapy approaches.
