Overview

The Engert lab is accepting postdoctoral scholar applications for research in larval zebrafish neuroscience. The general goal of our laboratory is the development of the larval zebrafish as a model system for the comprehensive identification and examination of neural circuits controlling various aspects of natural behavior. Basic Qualifications

Candidate must hold a PhD in Biophysics or Neuroscience, or related field or have completed all requirements for the PhD by the anticipated start date.

Additional Qualifications

Ideal applicants will typically have demonstrated interest in and experience relevant to the field of neuroscience, broadly defined.

Special Instructions

Letters of recommendation are not required at the time of application; however, letters will be collected for finalists. Candidates should submit with their application contact information for two to three references from experts at the ladder faculty ranks or highly accomplished senior researchers from corporations or research institutes.

Salary Range

Starting Salary for this position is anticipated to be $67,600 to $ 80,000. Pay offered to the selected candidate is dependent on factors such as years of experience, training or qualification, field of scholarship, and accomplishments in the field.
