Seeking a highly motivated Research Associate level biochemist/chemis. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine analytical characterizations of mRNA formulations.
Here's What You'll Do:
- Run HPLC and FACE (Fragment Analyzer Capillary Electrophoresis) based assays and analyze results according to an SOP
- Routine maintenance HPLC systems and FACE
- Sample preparation according to SOPs and data entry in an electronic laboratory notebook system
- maintain high-quality laboratory documentation in electronic systems
- Utilize standard automation liquid handlers for sample preparation
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment
- B.Sc. with strong foundation in biochemistry, chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering or related field
- Experience with Chromeleon HPLC software is preferred
- General chemistry and biochemistry lab skills are a must
- Experience in characterization of small and large molecules including biopolymers
- Experience in separations science is preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
