What you will be doing:As a Research Associate, you will join a team of senior engineers, scientists, and computer scientists focused on developing and expanding our tissue processing and imaging pipeline for large-scale samples optimized for our new DALISPIM system. You will primarily work on a grant-funded project leveraging our technology to generate large-scale biological imaging data.
Key responsibilities will include:- Perform hands‑on lab work involving advanced tissue preparation and imaging.
- Ensure project and milestone completion in line with funding deadlines.
- Working with fixed tissue from animal models and fixed post‑mortem human tissue.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant biological sciences
- Familiarity with light microscopy, neuroscience, in situ hybridization, and immunohistochemistry
- A strong interest in working in a fast‑growing life sciences start‑up environment
- Prior experience at the bench designing experiments and protocols (preferred)
- Imaging experience (preferred)
