Job Title: Immunology Scientist

Type: Contract (6 months)
The Scientist will join the Systems Immunology Lab within an Inflammation & Immunology research unit to generate large-scale single-cell perturbational datasets. This role focuses on functional genomics and single-cell transcriptomics, working hands‑on at the bench and collaborating closely with a昭 small, multidisciplinary research team.
ResponsibilitiesGenerate custom lentiviral libraries and maintain large-scale cell cultures.
Produce edited cell pools using lentiviral transduction and arrayed electroporation.
Develop, optimize, and customize protocols to support diverse cell lines and cell types at scale.
Generate single-cell datasets using commercial workflows, including 10x Genomics platforms.
Perform standard molecular biology and cell-based assays to support
Offering functional genomics studies.Collaborate with multidisciplinary experimental teams on a per-project basis.
Document experimental procedures, results, and observations in accordance with laboratory standards.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Immunology, or a related scientific field.
3+ years of hands‑on laboratory experience.
Strong experience with cell culture techniques, including primary immune cell handling, isolation, and in vitro stimulation.
Experience maintaining cell lines and working with large‑scale cultures.
Hands‑on experience with molecular biology techniques, including lentiviral infection, qPCR, western blotting, and flow cytometry.
Ability to perform routine bench work, including pipetting and lifting items up to approximately 10 lbs.
Direct experience with pooled cell screening approaches such as CRISPRi, CRISPRa, or other in vitro gene‑editing methods.
Experience generating or working with single‑cell transcriptomics data.
