We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Labor & Delivery for a travel assignment. This role requires a hands-on clinical leader with strong L&D management experience, charge capability, and flexibility with variable shifts to support safe, high-quality maternal and newborn care.

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Labor & Delivery unit
• Ensure safe, evidence-based nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns
• Support staffing, scheduling, and daily workflow to maintain appropriate coverage
• Serve as a clinical resource and provide charge nurse support as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety initiatives
• Monitor quality metrics, patient outcomes, and staff performance
• Support staff development, coaching, and competency validation
• Communicate effectively with leadership regarding unit operations, issues, and opportunities for improvement
