Location: Harvard Square, MA

Position Type: Part‑Time (10–25 hours/week)

Reports To: Community Outreach & Marketing Coordinator;
General Manager

Central Rock Gym is seeking an outgoing and community‑minded individual to help connect more people with climbing and fitness in the local area. As a Community Outreach Liaison, you’ll focus on getting the word out about CRG through local partnerships, grassroots marketing, and relationship building with nearby schools, organizations, and businesses.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys meeting people, planning fun collaborations, and sharing the CRG experience with new audiences.

• Visit schools, universities, and local businesses to promote CRG group visits and programs.
• Represent CRG at community events, fairs, and festivals.
• Coordinate small outreach tables, pop‑ups, or gym open houses.

• Help distribute posters, flyers, and promotional materials around town.
• Contribute to local social media posts and event promotion.
• Assist with in‑gym displays and marketing activations for local promotions.

• Assist with group day‑use bookings and birthday parties.
• Respond to community inquiries and connect leads to the gym’s management or membership team.
• Support membership and event sales during outreach campaigns.

• Friendly, extroverted and confident communicator with a passion for community engagement.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and comfortable representing CRG independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for outreach events.

• $16/hr + Attractive Commissions.
