Platform Engineer, Workday (Functional)

General Responsibilities:- Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
- Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
- Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
- Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
- Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities
- Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation
- Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
- Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 2 years of experience with Workday functional configuration tasks (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, Performance Management)
- At least 1 year of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform
- At least 1 year of experience with calculated fields or custom reports
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of of experience with Workday functional configuration
- 2+ years of experience with Workday Security or Workday Reporting
- 1+ years of experience loading HCM data into Workday using existing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB’s)
- Workday or Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking or Performance Management)

Compensation- Cambridge, MA: $111,200 - $126,900 for Platform Engineer
- Chicago, IL: $101,100 - $115,400 for Platform Engineer
- McLean, VA: $111,200 - $126,900 for Platform Engineer
- Plano, TX: $101,100 - $115,400 for Platform Engineer
- Richmond, VA: $101,100 - $115,400 for Platform Engineer
- San Francisco, CA: $121,300 - $138,400 for Platform Engineer
- San Jose, CA: $121,300 - $138,400 for Platform Engineer
This role is eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
