We’re looking for a Senior Dev Sec Ops  Engineer who is passionate about strengthening systems, advancing automation, and driving the next evolution of secure and resilient biomedical data infrastructure.

As a Senior Dev Sec Ops  Engineer at Data4

Cure, you will play a key role in enhancing and evolving the infrastructure that powers our Biomedical Intelligence Cloud. You’ll work cross-functionally with development, operations, and data science teams to ensure that our AWS-based environments are secure, reliable, and continuously improving.

You’ll focus on maintaining and strengthening our Dev Sec Ops  practices — improving automation, streamlining delivery, and embedding security at every stage of the software lifecycle.

• Continuously enhance and harden AWS infrastructure supporting our SaaS platform to improve scalability, performance, and resilience.
• Strengthen and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support secure, automated, and efficient software delivery.
• Improve observability through enhanced monitoring, alerting, and logging to drive proactive system health management.
• Maintain, develop and enforce security controls, policies, and processes that align with leading standards and adapt to evolving risks.
• Lead efforts in security automation, vulnerability management, and continuous security validation.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to integrate security and reliability throughout the SDLC.
• Evaluate new AWS tools, architectures, and Dev Sec Ops  practices to ensure our infrastructure remains modern and robust.
• Participate in on-call rotation to help maintain platform reliability and respond to operational issues in real time.
• Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement in security, automation, and operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AWS Dev Ops and Dev Sec Ops  roles.
• Proven expertise with AWS core and security services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloud Watch, IAM, Guard Duty, Inspector, etc.).
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Cloud Formation and Terraform.
• Deep understanding of network and application security (firewalls, routing, load balancing, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with security automation and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of backend architectures (e.g., Django, Nginx, Gunicorn, WSGI/ASGI).

• Proficiency in AWSPython automation tooling (boto3, awscli).
• Experience with continuous security validation or threat detection pipelines.
• Familiarity with Fin Ops or cloud cost optimization practices.
• Experience integrating SIEM/SOAR or incident response automation systems.
