Become a technical influencer

As a Senior Enterprise Architect focused on AI, you will advise and lead technical design for key decision‑makers. You will guide customers’ business strategies and help them maximize Akamai’s products, emphasizing AI and emerging technologies. You will share your expertise across Akamai, supporting teams with insights on AI and related advancements.

As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying customer AI and enterprise workload opportunities with sales teams, ensuring success through Akamai cloud, delivery, and security adoption.
• Facilitating the design and implementation of Akamai Edge, Compute, and Security solutions, APIs, and architectures for advanced AI workloads.
• Guiding customers in choosing the most suitable AI frameworks, tools and technologies for their needs.
• Collaborating with data scientists, engineers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing performance of AI solutions.
• Auditing existing AI practices and models to support continuous improvement and optimal results.
• Leading innovation by advocating emerging trends, shaping product roadmaps and partnering with Product Management and R&D teams to develop future product direction and strategy.
• Providing technical though leadership and guidance to educate peers on best practices and current technology trends.
• Establishing technical thought leadership in AI and cloud/edge computing to support Akamai’s business growth strategies.

Do what you love To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, another related field or its equivalent.
• Have deep knowledge of AI Inferencing applications, machine learning, and related concepts, as well as AI integration and programming.
• Be comfortable with scripting languages and development to help create automation on our platforms.
• Possess the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Have the ability to be a technical consultant to our customers and build effective and strategic relationships.
• Be able to analyze data, provide actionable solutions and thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to present to various stakeholders.
