Job Details- Compensation: The hourly base pay range is $17.50 per hour plus tips. Actual compensation based on skills, experience, education or training, and location.
- Work Schedule: Open availability.
- Benefits: Eligible for accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, telemedicine insurance, and the company 401k plan. Eligibility depends on job classification, length of employment, and hours worked. Benefits may change and may be subject to plan terms. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for these benefits.
The Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services to guests in a friendly and efficient manner. The role includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt, safe manner and assisting guests with luggage during arrival and departure (where applicable).
Essential Functions- Maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients. Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using professional and friendly interactions. Use guests’ last names when appropriate.
- Greet guests, practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette, and assist in designated areas when not performing tasks.
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely, assist with bell services and luggage storage, and open doors for guests.
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries. Provide information about facilities and local attractions. Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested. Shuttle guests to approved locations.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures. Issue claim checks after receiving keys and collect claims before issuing keys. Maintain ticket information (key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, claim check) in the valet system. Ensure location data on key tags. Calculate and collect revenue when needed.

Qualifications Education- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work in, or reside within a commutable distance (as applicable)
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Ability to read and write standard English.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to guests, clients, and other employees.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic using American money.
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems.
- Ability to understand applicable rates and time calculations.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable.
- Parallels parking skills when applicable.
- Job is fairly routine; follows established practices and procedures. Duties are performed with directions and work is checked regularly. Decisions are made within operational instructions and guidelines. Errors could affect department operation.
