Role Summary

Global Medical Director for Dermatology (Atopic Dermatitis focus), based in Cambridge, MA. This role leads medical education programs and stakeholder engagement within Medical Affairs Specialty Care, reporting to the Senior Global Medical Director and the Atopic Dermatitis indication Lead. You will drive medical education activities, scientific communications, and cross-functional collaboration to support patient care in immune-driven diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead activities related to medical education programs, interacting with agencies, scientific communications, procurement, publication teams, and internal and external experts.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, scientifically/clinically accurate medical communications deliverables within established timelines and budgets.
  • Develop, review, and approve content for scientific communications materials and activities (scientific platform, internal training slide decks, external facing reactive decks) ensuring accuracy and alignment with the strategy.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with dermatology experts, academics, professionals, and patient associations.
  • Interact with global and affiliate teams to capture educational gaps, insights, and track new data from LCM, HEOR, RWE, ISSs for symposia.
  • Participate in publications meetings, act as internal reviewer for abstracts/posters and manuscripts, and propose or lead original concepts.
  • Contribute to Medical Competitive Readiness activities, including updates to tools, reactive decks, and deep dives on competitor data.
  • Collaborate with the Alliance to plan and execute medical education activities in Brand and Global Medical Affairs Plans.
  • Deliver regular internal trainings on content developed, in collaboration with scientific communication, competitive readiness, and publication teams.
  • Travel required, approximately 20-30%.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in medical affairs, with specific focus in dermatology and Atopic Dermatitis.
  • Proven track record of strategic leadership in global medical affairs.
  • Demonstrated success in publication planning and scientific communications.
  • Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships and matrix teams.
  • Dermatology expertise in medical affairs required.
  • Prior experience in regional/affiliate medical affairs; global experience is advantageous.
