Senior Program Manager - Immunology

Role Summary

Senior Program Manager - Immunology will support the business-related initiatives for the Therapeutic Area, collaborating with the Medical Program Lead and Global Medical Team to provide operational execution of lifecycle management initiatives and launch deliverables. The role operates within a matrix team to ensure alignment with Global Medical Plans and fosters partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Provide Program Management support for the respective Therapeutic Area in close partnership with the Medical Program Lead
• Partner with the Global Medical Director to operationalize Global Medical Team(s)
• Collaborate with the Global Medical Director, Brand team and functional leads in the Global Medical Planning process (plan generation, tracking, updating)
• Provide Program Management support for lifecycle management including processes, timelines, and budget coordination
  • Facilitate financial planning exercises and tracking across Immunology with emphasis on medical stakeholder transparency
  • Conduct Data Gap / Study prioritization exercises
  • Coordinate CSS approvals and central Medical sources for CSO communications and partnerships
  • Capture operational details of ISS, RWE, study data milestones, and budget for studies defined in the Medical plan
  • Compliance reporting for CSS
  • Ensure cross-functional representation at team meetings and in Medical Affairs programs to optimize communication and decision-making
  • Support operational activities to maintain efficient, compliant workflows and processes
  • Manage portfolio and operational activities via a harmonized Program Management Tool across the SG MPM organization
  • Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external parties; advocate for collaboration with alliance partners where applicable
• Provide Program Management support for initiatives specific to the Therapeutic Area

• The ideal candidate has a background in biotech/pharmaceutical industries with direct experience in Project/Program Management; scientific background and Medical Affairs experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science (BS) required; advanced degree in science preferred; MBA is a plus
• At least 3+ years of project/program management or relevant experience in biotech/pharma or clinical/scientific environments
• Ability to lead projects and translate strategy into tactical plans
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methodologies
• Ability to foster teamwork and coordinate cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
• Ability to manage projects end-to-end with minimal supervision
• Ability to establish and provide frequent reporting dashboards with key metrics using harmonized methodologies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface across all levels of the organization
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to multitask and meet tight timelines
• Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software
