Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Nourish for Life is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our private practice. We specialize in eating disorders, and also work with a variety of other medical nutrition needs, such as: chronic diseases, digestive health, food allergies & intolerances, sports nutrition, neurodiversity-affirming care, transgender health, perinatal, and women’s health. Our therapeutic practice is rooted in the frameworks of Health At Every Size® and Intuitive Eating, while providing evidence-based nutrition counseling to our clients.

The available position is part-time, building up to 10 clients/week to start, with the opportunity to increase hours as available. This is a hybrid position - most of our work is virtual, but we require applicants to have the ability to see clients in-person at our North Cambridge office at least one day a week. This is not a benefited position, but we do provide sick time, and referral bonuses, and offer supervision and continuing education.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide evidence-based care and medical nutrition therapy to clients during initial assessments and follow-up counseling sessions.
• Document clinical notes in a timely manner and keep accurate records.
• Utilize different modalities of therapy as appropriate for behavior change.
• Be familiar with various treatment options to make referrals as needed.
• Collaborate with a team of providers and develop lasting relationships with clinicians.
• Participate in supervision regularly and as assigned.
• Assist with administrative and marketing tasks as needed.
• Potential for assisting with groups, workshops, events, and presentations as needed.

Candidate requirements:

• 2+ years experience as a registered dietitian.
• Demonstrated strength in MNT, counseling, and experience with eating disorders.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Licensed RDN in Massachusetts.
• Intuitive Eating and HAES® informed; can provide weight-inclusive care.
• Familiar with gender-affirming and neuro-affirming approaches to health and nutrition.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve in complex situations.
• Ability to work remotely/virtually in a private space with reliable internet access, and can see clients in-person at our North Cambridge office if needed.
