Job Description

The Veri Sight Clinical Specialist will represent Philips Veri Sight Pro 3D ICE (Intracardiac Echo Catheter) to Interventional Cardiologists and Electrophysiologists. This is an entirely new sales and clinical team within Philips to commercialize the Veri Sight Pro 3D ICE catheter. Veri Sight redefines how structural heart and EP procedures are performed, offering best-in-class 2D and 3D imaging.

Your role
  • The Veri Sight Clinical Specialist is accountable for building, maintaining, and providing outstanding technical and clinical product support, systems support, and sustained education to health care providers (HCP) and allied health professionals (AHP) around the Veri Sight platform. They partner with the Veri Sight Regional & Territory Managers, and Philips collaboration efforts across Ultrasound, Image Guided Therapy Systems & Devices, Training & Education, Field Service Engineers and Field Management to align activities with Veri Sight business objectives.
  • Given the entrepreneurial nature of the business, this role requires a hands-on approach with autonomy, initiative, motivation to achieve goals, strong clinical aptitude, and a solutions-oriented mindset. It also requires outstanding internal and external communication and a commitment to driving a world-class sales culture in line with Philips values.
  • Become an expert on 3D ICE use across multiple clinical procedure types and use consultative education techniques to identify customer needs, support, and opportunities in assigned geographies in partnership with the Regional & Territory Manager. Support evaluation of new products and provide clinical feedback to internal and external stakeholders. Provide ongoing support for company-sponsored clinical/marketing trials, registries, and educational events.
  • Continuously improve clinical acumen and knowledge of competitive products, and enhance customer relationship, sales, and education skills to maximize case support capability through proper planning and scheduling. Drive Veri Sight educational awareness and support through stakeholder engagement pre/intra/post case, including new program launches and staff training.
You're the right fit if
  • You are a Registered or Certified Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography lab with relevant work experience in the IC/EP clinical environment.
  • You have 2+ years of clinical echocardiography lab experience with Ultrasound consoles (Philips EPIQ) and advanced ultrasound/echocardiography knowledge of technology and market landscape.
  • You hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years of relevant professional work/military experience.
  • Your skills include:
  • Extensive knowledge of the medical device industry and related product portfolios, preferably in structural heart and/or electrophysiology therapies.
  • Strong clinical and technical knowledge with the ability to engage physicians, clinical staff, nurses, managers, and supply chain to present a value proposition.
  • Professional presence that influences results with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to determine customer needs and communicate them to Field Sales and Marketing Teams.
  • You are an effective and timely communicator, a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, a problem-solver who can think critically under pressure, and a dedicated learner.
  • You must be able to perform the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this sales position.
  • The ability to travel related to this role is required. Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice.
  • You live within the territory for this role and must reside in or within commuting distance to DFW.
