Our Cambridge based client is seeking an experienced research associate specializing in in vitro, biochemical, and cell‑based assay execution to support early‑stage therapeutic discovery. Skilled in plate‑based workflows (ELISA, RT‑qPCR, MSD, luminescent/colorimetric assays) and analysis of RNA/protein from animal tissues.
Core Responsibilities- Perform RNA/protein isolation and analyze samples using qPCR, ELISA, MSD, Western blot, and related platforms.
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot biochemical and cell‑based assays.
- Prepare clear data summaries, presentations, and maintain accurate ELN documentation.
- Collaborate across scientific teams to deliver high‑quality, timely experimental data.
- Support lab operations, including equipment maintenance and reagent preparation.
- Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in a biological or biochemical discipline.
- 3+ years of laboratory experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical company required.
- Hands‑on experience with animal tissues and aseptic technique.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Graph Pad Prism.
- Adaptable, detail‑oriented, and effective in fast‑paced team environments.
- Familiarity with 96‑/384‑well plate formats.
- Animal handling (dosing, blood/tissue collection) is a plus.
