Position: Technical Supervisor for High Complexity CLIA Lab

Nanobiosym is looking for a Technical Supervisor for its High-Complexity Testing CLIA LAB specializing in molecular diagnostics. The role and requirements are outlined below.

Job Responsibilities:

Selects appropriate test methodology for the clinical use of the test menu.

Verifies testing procedures and establishes laboratory performance criteria, including accuracy and precision.

Enrolls the laboratory in an approved PT program suitable for the services offered.

Establishes and maintains a quality control program, ensuring acceptable levels of analytic performance.

Resolves technical problems and implements corrective actions when test systems deviate from established performance standards.

Ensures patient test results are reported only after all corrective actions are completed and the test system functions properly.

Identifies training needs and ensures testing personnel receive regular in-service training.

Evaluates the competency of testing personnel regularly.

Conducts performance evaluations of testing personnel at six months, twelve months, and annually thereafter, including evaluations following changes in test methodology or instrumentation.

Qualifications:

Qualified as a Director for high-complexity testing.

OR qualified as a Technical Supervisor for high-complexity testing.

OR doctoral degree in clinical laboratory science or related fields with 1 year of training and experience in high-complexity testing.

OR master's degree in relevant fields with 1 year of training and experience.

OR bachelor's degree in relevant fields with 1 year of training and experience.

OR associate degree in medical laboratory technology with 2 years of training or experience in high-complexity testing, per CLIA regulation 42
