Senior Executive – US TAG at ACL (Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences and Medical Devices)
Position: Health Assistant II aka Medical Assistant
Location: 75 Mt Auburn St Cambridge MA, 02138
Work Schedule: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Friday (Tuesday off) 8:00a-5:30p approx. 35 hours/week
Duration: 3 months (possible extension for leave)
Required
Certifications:
Certified Medical Assistant, CPR Certified
- Prepare examination rooms and perform EKGs and waived testing
- Maintain patient flow and provide patient instruction regarding preparation of tests/procedures
- Prepare medical records ensuring confidentiality and assist clinicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Assist patients on the phone and in person, check patients in, collect copays, and schedule appointments (including outside tests)
- Perform transcription and other general office responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of Medical or Nursing Assistant program
- Patient service experience
- Certification as Medical Assistant, CPR certification
- Preferred:
Experience working with an electronic medical record, bilingual skills
