Senior​/Speech Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and holistic speech and language specific assessment for clients during admission, periodic care plan reviews, and discharge.
• Select appropriate and specific outcome measures to enable evaluation of therapy progress and outcomes in a timely manner to guide clinical decision making.
• Formulate person‑centered and SMART goals in collaboration with clients and relevant stakeholders.
• Design plans and conduct speech and language interventions for clients in a person‑centered manner that is evidence‑based.
• Document assessment results, therapy plans, interventions, goals and outcome measures according to guidelines.
• Communicate assessment results, intervention plans, goals, outcomes and discharge plans to clients and relevant stakeholders.
• Formulate discharge and continuity of care plans based on clients’ performance in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
• Mentor and supervise therapists and support staff for professional development and day‑to‑day job scope.
• Identify safety risks and issues, recommend preventive and corrective care measures.
• Conduct in‑house training for staff, caregivers and volunteers.
• Engage in continuing education to further skills and knowledge in the field of practice.

• Degree or Master in Speech Therapy and fully registered with AHPC.
• Ability to converse in English and other languages.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Speech Therapist (senior role).
• Dynamic and proactive personality with good public relation and communication skills.
• Strong management, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
