The Technologist Aide in Ultrasound will assist the Registered Ultrasonographer in various duties including room preparation, patient transfer, scheduling, and other supportive tasks. Patient information is always protected.

• Prepare the room and patient for procedures, ensuring all equipment is ready.
• Gather patient information and review medical records and requisitions.
• Assist with patient transfers, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Assess patient condition to ensure procedure appropriateness.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Identify patients properly before procedures.
• Clean and organize the room and equipment post-procedure.
• Report safety hazards immediately.
• Handle CD uploads and burns as requested.
• Prepare fluoroscopy room for procedures.
• Move throughout the department and hospital, assisting with equipment and patient transport.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good interpersonal and patient care skills.
• Basic Life Support certification preferred.
