An Electronics/Electrical Engineer II designs, develops, tests, and oversees the manufacturing of electrical printed circuit boards (PCBs), analog and digital circuits, electronic equipment, sensors, motors, radar, and navigation systems. The engineer develops the architecture, designs circuits, performs simulations, performs physical layout, verifies and tests designs, and performs a variety of engineering activities throughout the life‑cycle to support planning, design, test, deployment, and sustainment.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Translates project and system requirements into well‑defined hardware architectures working with cross‑functional teams.
- Innovatively solves issues, drives completion of the project to schedule, and collaboratively works with other technical contributors.
- Builds, debugs, and tests prototypes and deliverable hardware.
- Prepares documentation for manufacturing, and provides continuous support.
- Researches and enables innovative solutions for cutting‑edge designs.
- Engages other engineers and partners to develop reliable, cost‑effective end solutions for products.
- Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Independently executes assignments with minimal oversight.
- Able to apply technical knowledge to solve problems.
- Contributes high quality content for technical reports and presentations with minimal guidance.
- Proactively identifies needs and concerns associated with design decisions and communicates them to project leadership.
- Proficiency in electronic design.
- Ability to write detailed design specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

- Thorough understanding of engineering theories and procedures.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience3‑5 years experience in electrical engineering or related field.
