MIT Assistant Professor in Structural Design (Tenure Track)
The Department of Architecture at MIT is seeking candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Structural Design, with an emphasis on digital design, computation, and fabrication. The successful candidate will be involved in research and teaching within the Building Technology Program.
Applicants will be evaluated based on their research record, teaching effectiveness, and ability to collaborate across disciplines. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in digital technologies, materials, fabrication, or construction related to building technologies. A doctoral degree is preferred but not mandatory. Teaching experience in architecture or engineering is valued.
The candidate will advise graduate students, participate in teaching architecture design studios and building technology courses at various levels, and contribute to departmental and institute activities.
