Professor​/Associate​/Assistant Professor in Financial Mathematics

Full‑time academic position in Financial Mathematics at Beijing Normal – Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU). Final date to receive applications: 15 September 2026.

Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor in Financial Mathematics ()

Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Mathematical Finance
• Probability Theory
• Operations Research
• Applied Mathematics
• Data Science
• Financial Derivatives
• Risk Management in Finance
• International Finance
• Fixed Income Securities

Candidates should have earned a PhD in financial engineering or financial mathematics from a recognized university. Candidates from mathematics, statistics, operations research, data science, computer science, or finance field are also welcome.

Successful candidates are required to demonstrate an ability to undertake independent research leading to impactful outcomes, such as publication in high‑quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals and other types of scholarly work as appropriate & recognized by their disciplines.

They are also expected to have a commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate or postgraduate levels.

Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

Commencing salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe benefits include housing allowance, leave, and social insurance.

Appointments to these positions will initially be made on a fixed‑term contract with mutual agreement.
