In this role, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients, addressing a variety of mental health issues. • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychotherapy and medication management as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in case consultations and clinical meetings
• Stay informed about the latest developments in psychiatric practice
• Provide support and guidance to patients and their families

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with a focus on Psychiatry
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts
• Experience in psychiatric care, preferably in an outpatient setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Flexibility to adapt to changing clinical environments

Schedule:

8:30a-5p

No call requirement

Setting: 22-bed inpatient geripsych unit

Daily Volume:
Up to 8 per day

Patient Population:
Geriatrics

Average Length of Stay: 14-15 days

Support Staff: 3 psychiatrists

EMR:
Epic

Must be board-certified
