Position: GUEST SERVICES AGENT (FULL TIME)

Job Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time GUEST SERVICES AGENT position.

  • Location:

    AstraZeneca - 290 Binney Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02142.

    Note:

  • Schedule:

    Full time;
    Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement:
    Three years of prior experience in a high‑service, client‑facing role, such as a corporate concierge, is preferred.
  • Pay Range: $26.00 per hour to $38.50 per hour.
  • Perks: $350 monthly commuter stipend.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary front‑of‑house representative, delivering polished, high‑touch hospitality and maintaining a professional, welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and executive guests.
  • Provide proactive support by anticipating needs, resolving service inquiries, managing a high‑volume phone system, and coordinating mail, courier activity, and sensitive materials in partnership with Security and Workplace Services.
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource for facility operations, local area amenities, and departmental information while facilitating maintenance, IT, and housekeeping work orders.
  • Support meetings and events through scheduling assistance, registration oversight, and seamless coordination with internal teams, ensuring consistent operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Completes the registration/check‑in process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system confirming pertinent information.
  • Ensures rooms and services are correctly accounted for within the guest statement and properly accounts for services provided by the hotel.
  • Assists guests with check‑out payments or charges, accepting and recording vouchers, credit, traveler’s checks, and other forms of payment.
  • Balances and drops receipts according to accounting specifications.
  • Provides guests with information about the facility, services, and amenities.
  • Receives special requests from guests, and responds appropriately or forwards requests to appropriate team members for decisions and actions.
  • Promptly answers the telephone and email inquiries, retrieving and forwarding messages to/from guests, and retrieves mail, packages, and facsimiles or other special items for customers as requested.
  • Fields and resolves guest complaints or escalates for resolution to the appropriate department.
  • Assists guests in emergency situations.
  • Maintains adequate supplies and functional equipment at the Front Desk.
  • Performs any special assignments deemed by the GM, Guest Services manager, or Manager on Duty.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
