We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to support our U.S. Legal team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, particularly Ironclad
, and a strong understanding of contract processes within a corporate or life sciences environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the contract life cycle process for the U.S. Legal team using an integrated procure-to-pay system.
- Oversee the end-to-end contract process
, including tracking status, responding to internal queries, and managing document execution via Docu Sign
. - Ensure all executed contracts are properly recorded, filed, and entered into the contract database with accurate metadata.
- Enhance the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process using Ironclad to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing a variety of transactional agreements
, ensuring accuracy and completeness. - Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Compliance, and other internal departments to support contract execution.
- Maintain a high level of organization, accuracy, and confidentiality throughout the contract management process.
- Support the U.S. Legal team with special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in contract administration
, preferably in a legal or life sciences environment. - Hands‑on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems —
Ironclad highly preferred
; SOM experience a plus. - Strong knowledge of contract management best practices and legal requirements.
- Excellent project management and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
Docu Sign
, and other e‑signature or contract tools. - Exceptional attention to detail
, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. - Strong communication skills
, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization. - A team player with a proactive mindset, professionalism, and confidentiality.
