** Job Description

Summary:

** The Technician B (Elec-Mech Area) performs skilled laboratory work under close supervision of senior technical personnel. Under limited supervision, perform cleaning, maintenance, and/or calibration of laboratory and equipment requiring skilled knowledge. With adequate training and supervision, perform work of an essentially repetitive nature for production of deliverable hardware. Such work shall involve moderately complex manual skills and the operation of moderately complex automated or semi-automated equipment.

With limited supervision, carefully documents their own work consistent with work unit policy in hand written form or using common computer-based software. At the discretion of the supervisor, performs focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions.
