This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Field Service Technician located in Cambridge, MD. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing smart home systems, security equipment, and other technological solutions provided by the company. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, providing hands‑on technical support, and ensuring an excellent experience for customers through effective communication and problem‑solving.
The technician will collaborate with team members to ensure high‑quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Experience in Field Service, including installation, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and identifying technical issues effectively
- Strong technical support skills and the ability to resolve complex issues
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive client experience
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Knowledge or experience in smart home technology and security systems is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in relevant fields are an advantage
- Driver’s license and ability to travel to different client sites if required
