TMC Industrial Master Electrician (First Shift) – South Mill Champs Mushrooms
Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Industrial Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, ensuring that all electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs are conducted in accordance with national, state, and local codes. This role requires strong leadership skills, problem‑solving abilities, and a commitment to electrical safety.
Hours:
M‑F 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. During peak season works 6 days per week.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
- Licenses /
Certifications:
Current Industrial Master Electrician license. Additional certifications in electrical safety or specialized training are a plus. - Experience: 2–5 years of industrial electrical work.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficient in reading & interpreting electrical blueprints and technical diagrams. Knowledge of electrical theory, NEC, and safety regulations. Experience with variable frequency drive (VFD), servo drives, and servo motor. - Soft Skills: Excellent problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with codes and standards. Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective measures.
- Installation & Maintenance: Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. Troubleshoot and repair high‑ and low‑voltage systems, transformers, motors, and control systems.
- Supervision & Training: Mentor a team of maintenance staff. Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities.
- Project Management: Plan and coordinate electrical projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other trades.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and installations. Prepare reports on system performance and recommend improvements.
- Emergency Response: Respond to electrical emergencies, troubleshoot promptly, and implement repairs. May require occasional overtime, weekend work, or off‑shift response. Use PPE in noisy or hazardous environments.
