We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Industrial Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, ensuring that all electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs are conducted in accordance with national, state, and local codes. This role requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to electrical safety.
Qualifications and Education Requirements- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program preferred. - Licenses/Certifications:
Current Industrial Master Electrician license. Additional certifications in electrical safety or specialized training are a plus. - Experience:
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in industrial electrical work. - Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, NEC (National Electrical Code), and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), servo drives, and servo motor.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant electrical codes and standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Promote a culture of safety, ensuring all team members follow safety protocols and best practices.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high‑voltage and low‑voltage systems, transformers, motors, and control systems.
- Mentor a team of maintenance staff.
- Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in electrical systems.
- Plan and coordinate electrical projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, inspections, and installations.
- Prepare reports on electrical system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary.
- Respond to electrical emergencies, troubleshooting issues promptly, and implement repairs to minimize downtime and safety risks.
- Work environments may be noisy or hazardous, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Occasional overtime or emergency response may be required, including off‑shift and weekend work.
- During peak season will require 6 days per week.
