Pepsi Co Foods Canada hasacurrent opening at the Frito Lay Facility in Cambridge, ON fora Licensed Electrician
Compensation: $ per hour (Plus shift premiums)
Shift: Monday – Friday (11pm – 7am)
ResponsibilitiesMaintenance of site equipmentCompletion of preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and electrical and/or mechanical repairs for all equipment within area of responsibilityExecute daily assigned workManage through emergency breakdownsSupport in root cause and prevention of future downtime eventsWork collaboratively with operators and other classifications across the site to reduce downtime,safetyand quality risksEffective communication for shift crossovers, work order feedback, production meetings, and activity coordination between other shiftsAbove average trouble shooting skills and ability to resolve issues in a diverse, fast paced environmentQualificationsMust currently possess a valid Electrical license in the province of Ontario (309A or 442) with certificate of apprenticeship as an assetSecondary trade license would be an asset with associated pay incentiveKnowledge of PLC and control systems strongly preferredFamiliarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and recording hoursStrong work ethic, with a positive attitude and motivation to succeed in a team environmentDemonstrated continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliabilityExceptionalcommunicationskills and basic computer literacyPhysically capable oflifting upto 50lbs asrequiredWhat you can expect from us
