Jamesway is a privately held company, headquartered in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and operates subsidiary operations in the United States, Malaysia, United Kingdom and China. All major Product Engineering, Finance, HR, IT, QA, and primary manufacturing is performed at our global headquarters. Sales and Service operations are segregated into seven major global regions:
North America, Latin America, Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, and CIS.
Position Description & Scope
The Applications Manager is responsible for leading the applications side of the IT department, ensuring that enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, PLM and business intelligence platforms support business objectives. This role will lead a small team, including a Business Analyst and ERP Administrator, and champion innovation by exploring and introducing emerging technologies such as AI. The Applications Manager will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to optimize processes, improve data-driven decision-making, and deliver technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Position

Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and mentor the Applications team (Business Analyst, ERP Administrator).
Set priorities, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Oversee all application systems, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment with business needs.
Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and vendor relationships.
Lead BI initiatives using Qlik and oversee data modeling to deliver actionable insights.
Develop dashboards and reporting solutions for operational and strategic decision-making.
Explore and implement AI-driven solutions for predictive analytics, automation, and process optimization.
Oversee API integrations between all applications.
Ensure data integrity and seamless workflows across platforms.
Maintain application security, licensing compliance, and documentation.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and digital transformation initiatives.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience
5+ years of experience in IT applications management or similar role.
ERP experience, preferably with SAP S/4

HANA.
Hands-on experience with Qlik or other BI tools.
Familiarity with AI concepts and practical applications in business.
Skills
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
