At Atlantic Industries Limited (AIL), the Engineering Manager plays a key leadership role in building high-performing engineering teams and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to a high standard. This role is focused on people leadership, workload planning, and process excellence, rather than day-to-day technical design.

What You’ll Do

Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers and technologists

Plan and balance workloads to meet project timelines and priorities

Manage billable utilization, resource allocation, and team capacity

Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards

Drive consistent engineering processes, standards, and QA/QC practices

Use KPIs and metrics to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance

Collaborate with Project Management, Operations, Sales, and other teams

Act as a culture carrier and role model for safety and accountability

What You Bring
Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related)

8+ years of engineering experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role

Experience managing engineers and technologists in a project-based environment

Proven ability to manage billable hours, utilization, or project financials

Strong people leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Nice to Have

Experience in improving engineering processes and efficiency

Exposure to tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP
2000, or Plaxis
