About Us
Aecon, and its predecessor companies, have been actively engaged in Nuclear Construction in Canada, and internationally, since 1967.

Aecon Nuclear provides a full spectrum of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, in addition to maintenance and manufacturing services tailored to meet the demanding requirements of the nuclear power industry. We hold a broad range of nuclear qualifications to support the nuclear industry with construction and maintenance services.
Currently, Aecon is a major partner for both ongoing refurbishment programs at OPG and Bruce Power, and provides EPC services for many nuclear maintenance projects. We also provides major construction services to the nuclear power market in the US.
The General Manager – Nuclear Fabrication will lead Aecon’s Nuclears fabrication operations supporting nuclear projects across Canada. This role is responsible for overseeing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient delivery of fabricated components for nuclear projects.
What You'll Do Here
Oversee daily fabrication operations at multiple fabrication shops, ensuring alignment with project schedules, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. Drive continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles across all fabrication activities
Develop and implement long-term strategies for fabrication growth, innovation, and operational excellence. Collaborate with engineering, project management, and quality teams to ensure deliverables meet nuclear industry standards
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team including supervisors, trades engineers, and support staff. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, quality and performance
Interface with internal and external stakeholders including clients, suppliers, regulators, and senior leadership. Represent Aecon’s fabrication capabilities in project reviews, audits, and industry forums
