Major Job Functions
Trouble shoot, repair and maintain mining equipmentRespond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair requiredProviding support with reference to on-site safety requirementsMaintain Finning Customer Service CommitmentSpecific Skills & Experience
Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Certification5+ years experience troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance on the following (but not limited to) equipment: D6‐D8 Dozers, Track-Hoes, Articulated Rock Trucks, 775-777 Haul Trucks, Graders, Generators, Loaders, Drills & ShovelsClean Drivers’ Abstract (5 yr)Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systemsEngine and/or component rebuilding experience would be beneficialTransmission or Hydraulic testing experienceImportant Details:
12 Hours per Day21 x 21 Continuous Day Shift / Night Shift Rotation (21 Days/21 Off/21 Nights)Travel Allowance to get to marshalling pointUp to $1,200 per rotation (to cover associated costs of getting to marshalling point)Customer flights provided from Edmonton or YellowknifeCustomer Camp providedAt Finning, we prioritize creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
