Senior Software Engineer – Price

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer with a strong background in implementing Price

FX solutions and deep expertise in Groovy scripting, Java, JavaScript, and Apache Camel. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable pricing and integration solutions, contributing to digital transformation initiatives for global enterprises.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the technical implementation of Price

FX modules including Quote Configurator, Price Builder, Rebate Manager, and others.
• Write and maintain Groovy scripts to implement custom business logic and calculations within Price

FX.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Apache Camel, REST APIs, and other middleware tools.
• Develop backend components and services using Java and frontend elements using JavaScript when required.
• Collaborate with solution architects, project managers, and client stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, performance tuning, and debugging of complex configurations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and reusable assets.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Mandatory

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Familiarity with dashboarding tools like Tableau or Power BI (preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience, with at least 2+ years in Price

FX implementation.
• Proficient in Groovy scripting and Price

FX calculation logic setup.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot preferred).
• Experience with Apache Camel for integration flows and routing.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript for light UI customization or scripting needs.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and third-party system integrations.
• Good understanding of pricing processes and enterprise software implementation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred

Skills:

1. Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).2. Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).3. Background in enterprise pricing, CPQ, or revenue management platforms.
4. Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
