RELIEF Retail Security Officer

Locations:
Camberley, Basingstoke, Bracknell, Slough areas

Pay: £14.38 per hour
• Paid breaks

Retail experience is essential. Must have a full UK driving licence and own vehicle as travel includes circa 30 miles radius each way.

Shifts:

Various times (between Monday – Saturday 08:00 and 22:00, Sunday 10:00-17:00) - must be flexible to work any day/time. Minimum 8-hour contract (permanent weekly shift, Saturday 9 hour shift in Camberley).

You are required to provide safety and security to our customer's property, people and assets in line with the published Assignment Instructions, delivering results that meet and/or exceed the Key Performance Indicators. Provide exceptional customer service to both staff and visitors, and undertake additional training for continuous self-development, upholding Mitie and client reputations.

• Use ASCONE to maintain the security of the site
• Conduct regular patrols of the site
• Deliver customer service to both staff and visitors
• Support staff with any reasonable request
• Ensure the relevant reports are completed for accurate information

Complete all required competency training and undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development as directed by the Operations Manager. Renew your licence 16 weeks before expiry.

• Identify and report Health & Safety hazards on site
• Stay alert to threats or changes in the work environment and take appropriate actions to reduce disruption, loss or damage
• Deliver customer service to diffuse situations and avoid escalation
• Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations
• Record incidents accurately in the on-site system
• Call emergency services and Control Room to report serious incidents

• Valid Door Supervisor SIA Licence
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to connect with store teams quickly
• Self-starter, able to act without direction
• Report writing skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
