We are looking for a capable Field Manager to lead a team of multi‑skilled waste network service engineers in delivering both reactive and scheduled work around the clock in a dynamic environment. This role supports our commitment to health, safety, operational excellence and a culture of continuous improvement.

Camberley Treatment Works, Camberley, Surrey - Job Type: Permanent, Full‑time
- Hours:
Monday‑Friday, 40 hours + on‑call rota (start times to be discussed) - Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 per annum, depending on experience

- Carry out site inspections
- Coordinate field engineers
- Manage fleet issues
- Evaluate employee performance
- Liaise with office planners / team leaders
- Conduct one‑to‑one meetings
- Track vehicle utilisation
- Ensure resource availability
- Assist the client with high‑profile jobs
- Monitor engineers’ performances
- Handle HR disciplinary processes, interviews and pathway reviews
- Support the wellbeing of field staff
- Adhere to Lanes Group policies and responsibilities
- Perform other reasonable ad‑hoc duties as requested by senior leadership
- Hard‑working, respectful, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Previous management and leadership experience is essential
- Full UK driver’s licence
- Knowledge of the utilities sector, especially drainage and wastewater, is an advantage
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and build working relationships
- Strive to be always positive and constructive
- Adhere to all company policies
- Communicate openly and deliver on commitments
- Suggest ideas that improve productivity or systems
