Management Accountant – Senior UK Role. Camberley / Hybrid, to £70k

Are you a qualified Management Accountant ready to step into a high-impact, high-visibility role? We’re looking for a sharp, commercially minded finance professional to own UK management accounting, strengthen financial control, and help shape a scalable, IPO-ready finance function. This is your chance to make a real imprint on a growing, multi-entity business — while leading a talented team and driving meaningful change.

In this senior role, you’ll take full responsibility for the quality and integrity of our UK management accounts. You’ll lead, challenge, coach, and continuously raise the bar across reporting, controls, and processes.

• Final sign-off for UK management accounts (P&L + balance sheet)
• Line management of Accounts Managers across UK business units
• Reviewing, challenging and improving P&L reporting and financial judgements
• Ensuring robust balance sheet reconciliations and clear ownership across AP, AR, Payroll & other teams
• Driving standardisation across management accounts and month-end processes
• Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into group reporting and systems
• Identifying process, systems and control improvements to build a scalable, high-quality finance environment
• Acting as the key escalation point for technical accounting and control matters

You’re a confident, qualified accountant who thrives in fast-paced, multi-entity environments and enjoys raising standards across teams.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
• Strong experience in management accounting & balance sheet control
• Proven ability to review, challenge, and sign off management accounts
• Experience mentoring or managing finance team members
• Confidence operating in growing, PE-backed or multi-entity organisations
• Strong technical accounting skills + a pragmatic, hands-on approach
• Excellent communication, able to challenge constructively
• ERP exposure (Sage experience is essential, Sage 200 is desirable)
