Financial Accountant, Legal (£75-85k) Your new company You’ll be joining a well‑established law firm with an excellent reputation in its sector. Your new role As Financial Accountant, you will take ownership of statutory reporting across several group entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery. You will work closely with senior leadership, external advisors and operational teams, playing a key role in managing tax, audit and VAT activities while contributing to ongoing process enhancement. You will be responsible for:
Preparing statutory accounts for multiple UK and international entities Producing tax computations Managing group VAT submissions Liaising with external advisors and representing the firm at relevant professional forums Identifying opportunities to enhance systems, controls and processes What you'll need to succeed You’ll be a qualified ACCA or ACA accountant. You’ll bring strong knowledge of UK GAAP, statutory reporting requirements and emerging standards such as IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.

Experience of SRA client account rules would be beneficial. You will either have experience working in the legal/professional service sector or working on those clients whilst in practice.
