Financial Director

We Do Group are working with a PE backed FMCG group that is scaling rapidly across Europe through acquisition and organic growth. The UK business is the heartbeat of the group and they are now hiring a Finance Director to lead the regional finance function across core accounting, financial control and commercial performance.

This is a true Finance Director role. You will own the core finance engine, strengthen the control environment, improve reporting quality and lead a small but capable team. Alongside this you will remain close to the numbers, partner with the senior team and help shape how the UK business grows.

You will balance hands on accounting with commercial influence. The ideal blend for someone who enjoys both the technical and strategic sides of finance in a fast growing, product led environment.

• Qualified Accountant with strong technical finance grounding
• Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods or product based businesses
• Track record of leading core finance, financial control and centralised accounting
• Comfortable getting hands on with reporting, month end and process improvement
• Strong commercial mindset and confidence influencing senior leaders
• Experience driving EBITDA growth and supporting strategic decision making
• Thrives in a scaling PE backed environment where pace and ownership matter

• Lead and centralise all core finance activities across the UK region
• Own monthly reporting, financial control, balance sheet integrity and statutory compliance
• Strengthen processes, systems and controls to build a modern scalable finance function
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cost management across the UK business
• Provide commercial insight to senior stakeholders across Operations, Group and the wider leadership team
• Support investment decisions, margin improvement and performance analysis
• Ensure accurate, timely and insightful board reporting and commentary
• Act as the financial partner for UK growth plans and long term strategy
• Lead and develop a capable finance team with a culture of ownership and high standards
